These photographs become more than portraits — they become memories you can hold onto long after the newborn stage is gone.

When should I schedule a newborn session?
I schedule newborn sessions within the first two weeks of the due date. This is a tentative date and will likely change depending on the baby's arrival. Having said that, there are no guarantees with newborns. They do what they please. I have done photo shoots at 5 days. Some cooperate and some don't. I have done photo shoots at 4 weeks. Some cooperate and some don't. Either way, they're all wonderful!
If the baby is late, you will contact me and we will play it by ear. If the baby is early, don't worry about contacting me right away. Enjoy the new member of your family! Contact me in the next day or two by email or text and let us know that your baby is here. I will then check my calendar and will let you know what dates would work out best.
How do I prepare for the session?
Don't worry about keeping baby awake before your session. Follow your baby's normal routine. We'll allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing and snuggles and let baby lead the session.
I have wraps, outfits and accessories to make beautiful images. If you have something specific in mind or want to incorporate something special (ex. fireman's helmet), please let me know beforehand.
When should I feed my baby?
If possible, plan to feed baby shortly before your session. You're also welcome to feed baby when you arrive. And don't worry if baby needs another feeding during the session—we'll take breaks whenever needed. A fed, comfortable baby is our priority.
Do I need to provide props, clothes and wraps?
No. I have all the wraps, props and accessories!
